Because i can't upload this Videos via Youtube, i have to post them as Links about the Blessing of the Monument in honour of the first "Patriarch", which is of course being given in honour by the Holy Synod of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic to their Major Archbishop without the proper Recognition from the Vatican, though they consent in giving such Title. It is also worth writing here the sacrifice the Ukrainian Greek Catholics have give to recognized this "Patriarchate" since the time of His Beatitude Cardinal Josyf Slipyj until this present Major Archbishop His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk. For more than 4 decades, they sought such Approval from the Pope's Apartment, though it ended up in vain and of course, "Ecumenical" tactics.
The Ceremony of the Blessing was presided by His Grace Innocent Lotocky, OSBM, Eparch Emeritus of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Chicago, and one of the Oldest Hierarchs not just of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church but of the whole Catholic Church as well.

Video was taken at the time of Death of His Beatitude Cardinal Josyf Slipyj in 1984 in Rome, after his remain we lay to be Venerated in Santa Sofia de Boccea, the Main Headquarters of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Rome. Along with him is the Second Major Archbishop after Cardinal Slipyj, His Beatitude Cardinal Myroslav Ivan Lybachivsky and in 1992, the Major Archbishop remains where transferred in St. George Cathedral in Lviv.
Of all the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Hierarchs who have been sent to the Soviet Gulag, tortured, starved, even Executed or Assasinated, only Patriarch Josfy the Confessor came out alive and to lead the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on its Diaspora. Sadly that he never see himself going back to Ukraine alive when he die in 1984, and Six years later bringing back his remains in Lviv in 1992.
Prayer for the Beatification and Canonization of Confessor Patriarch Josyf Slipyj Most Holy Trinity, glory and honour to You for the graces bestowed upon the Pastor of the Ukrainian Catholic Church, the Servant of God Josyf Slipyj, and for giving us a shining example of unshakeable faith and heroic perseverance of a defender of Your persecuted Church and an authentic witness of the Crucified Christ, throughout 18 years of severe hardship in Siberia. Through his merits and intercession, grant us the strength to follow Christ on His Way of the Cross and help us obtain the grace, which we most need and for which we ask....(name it). May this received grace lead to the elevation on the altar of the Blessed your good, strong and faithful son of Your Church. For to You belongs all glory, honour, adoration, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, Amen.
